The Face: REN Serums

Oh REN how I've come to love thee. In the last year I've tried already quite a few of their products and my favourites so far have to be their serums and their masks. I also love the fact that there are no nasty ingredients in their products, REN are seriously my favourite skincare brand I've tried so far. This is starting to sound like a sponsored post, but it really isn't, I swear ;-)

I've always had problems with rosy cheeks and redness in my skin and something that has really noticeably helped with that is the REN Hydra Calm Youth Defence Serum. It is a serum for sensitive skins to reduce redness, prevent damage and keep the skin looking younger. It also strengthens the capillary walls which helps with redness too. Now I'm 20 years old so I'm not really sure about the anti-aging benefits of this serum, I guess I'll know in a couple of years time. I have noticed that my skin is far less red than it used to be and my cheeks don't flush as easily anymore either, something I'm very glad about. I apply this serum every morning underneath my moisturiser and I love the light consistency, it sinks into your skin straight away.

A serum I like to use in the evenings to heal spots quicker and to prevent future ones is the REN ClearCalm 3 Replenishing Night Serum. I really notice the difference when I use this or not, my blemishes heal much faster and they are less red in the morning. It has a lovely herbal smell too which is really relaxing just before bedtime. The light texture also sinks in straight away, so you don't have to wait ages before you can apply your moisturiser on top.

Have any of you tried these serums or any other REN serums? Let me know!

Love, Alissia x
